Adam Woody is among the most experienced, credentialed, and court-tested criminal defense attorneys in southwest Missouri. Adam studied Criminology, Psychology, and Global Studies at Drury University before going on to receive his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law. He is also a 2013 graduate of the National Criminal Defense College’s Trial Practice Institute.

Lacon Smith, Attorney

Attorney Lacon Smith graduated from Drury University in 2014 with her Bachelor of Arts in English and Global Studies. In May 2019, she was awarded her Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of Arkansas School of Law.

During her studies Lacon served as an Associate Notes and Comments Editor on the Law Review, and will be published in the Second Volume of 2019. While in Arkansas, she also clerked for the United States Attorney’s Office, the James Law Firm (specializing exclusively criminal defense), and Pulaski County Circuit Court Judge Alice Sprinkle Gray. Her areas of interest include wrongful convictions, the use of DNA evidence in criminal cases, and search and seizure law.

She is originally from Houston, Missouri, where she still enjoys spending time with her family and floating down the Big Piney River. Lacon lives in Springfield with her daughter, age 4.
