Curbside and Drive Through Mixed Drinks From Restaurants Temporarily Allowed During Shutdown

If you’ve been clamoring for your favorite mixed drink from your favorite restaurant, you’re in luck!  The Missouri Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Control are easing certain restrictions in the liquor control laws.  Generally the Missouri Revised Statutes in section 311 outlaw alcoholic beverages to be sold through drive-through or curbside pickup.  Well, given the shutdown over COVID-19 those restrictions are being lifted.  The change is designed to help restaurants get back some of the lost revenue they would generally get if opened to the public.  So, worry no more.  Your favorite cocktail is just a short drive away….just make sure to wait until you get home to drink it!
